In April, 2005, Jeff Haidet acquired Dehart Guard & Patrol Services, Inc. Jeff had a strong desire to create a security company different from those typically found in the security industry and built a philosophy on two primary concepts: Provide "outstanding service" and become the "employer of choice" among security professionals. To help solidify this goal, Mr. Haidet changed the company name to ALERT Protective Services in May of 2006, as the new management and ownership team of the company reflected an overall philosophical change in the operation and direction.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. He has been in the security industry for over 25 years. Prior to ALERT, Jeff served as Area Vice President for Securitas USA, the world's largest security company.
Mr. Haidet has extensive experience in providing global security solutions to Fortune 500 companies, including executive protection, risk management & assessment, investigations and security officer services. During his tenure with Securitas, Mr. Haidet coordinated contract security services to clients throughout Florida prior to, and in the aftermath of Hurricanes Charlie, Frances, Ivan and Jeanne in 2004. With a background in both sales and operations, Jeff's goal is to leverage his extensive experience and help ALERT become the security "provider of choice" in Florida as well as "employer of choice" for security professionals.
Mr. Haidet is an active member, instructor and sponsor for CAI (Community Associations Institute) – West Florida Chapter, and is a member of CAI – Suncoast Chapter.
