Jason Hamilton — CPP, Vice President & Managing Partner

As an Officer and partner in the company, Jason’s primary role is the coordination and management of all operations of ALERT Protective Services.  This includes static security, patrol, consulting & investigation services.

Mr. Hamilton is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP™)  the preeminent designation awarded by ASIS International, the world’s largest organization with over 30,000 security professionals. This certification is awarded to individuals whose primary responsibilities are in security management, have the necessary experience & education and who have demonstrated advanced knowledge in eight separate disciplines that include:

 

• Security Principles & Practices
• Business Principles & Practices
• Personnel Security
• Physical Security
• Information Security
• Emergency Practices & Response
• Investigations
• Legal Aspects

To ensure this knowledge is relevant to an ever changing security landscape, all CPP™’s must be recertified every three years by exhibiting a combination of community activities, industry participation and continuing education.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin and is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of South Florida.  He has over 16 years experience in the Security & Loss Prevention industries in a variety of management roles,  with several Fortune 500 companies.  Jason’s expertise includes safety & security operations, financial, business & asset protection management, video, CCTV & alarm system integration, emergency response training & incident management, risk management & consulting, investigation & interrogation and employee training.  In addition, Jason has had several articles published in trade publications.

He further worked extensively with Mr. Haidet in 2004, coordinating contract security services to clients in Central & South Central Florida in the aftermath Hurricanes Charlie, Francis and Jeanne while also leading a security branch in Orlando.  Jason uses these skills and his experience to support the company’s goal to provide outstanding service & support to all clients & employees.

Mr. Hamilton is currently the “Manager of Record” for ALERT Protective Services as he possesses a Security Agency Manager’s License with the State of Florida.  He is also an active member, instructor & Gold Sponsor for CAI – West Florida Chapter.  In addition, he has been an active member of ASIS International  since 1997, obtaining his (CPP™) certification in 2007. In 2008 Mr. Hamilton was appointed to the Private Security Services Council (PSSC), where he currently serves as the Newsletter Committee Chair.  Jason is also involved with Infragard (West Florida) and has continued his commitment to Venice and gated communities by his appointment to the CDD (Community Development District) Board of Directors for Stoneybrook at Venice in mid 2009.
