These plans are available to NEW EMPLOYEES the 1st of Month following 60 of days from hire to full time officers.
Once past that period, employees may enroll during OPEN ENROLLMENT, which is communicated to all ALERT officers approximately 1 month in advance. This is also the time in which changes to existing plans may be made.
ALERT offers an excellent 401k plan that gives employees an opportunity to save for or supplement retirement. Our Safe Harbor 401k Plan grants a 100% match by ALERT on an employee's first 4% pre-tax contribution. In addition, employees are 100% vested in the ALERT match, immediately following. No one else in the industry is offering such a 401k match.
The 401k Plan is available to full time officers following one year of service.
